Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial art that can be practiced by anybody and everybody! Join second-degree black belt in Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do, Erica Fada (she/they), for an hour long workshop of the basics of this martial art on RAYGUN's 2nd floor.
We’ll explore a bit of the history behind the art, meditation, and basic techniques such as punches, kicks, and blocks. We will spend most of the hour moving, so wear something flexible and comfortable, but all techniques can be modified to accommodate any injuries or other potential causes of discomfort.
All ages, genders, and knowledge of martial arts levels are welcomed to take part. If all of this sounds exciting, come sign up at Raygun, where there will be a physical list behind the register. There will be a cap at 7 participants, so don’t wait! Email Erica at efada@luc.edu with any questions, or claire@raygunsite.com to sign up (or just stop by RAYGUN)!
