Self-compassion is a newly popular concept that is foreign to most of us, in this harsh, critical world. This group is a supportive community of others around you, sharing their successes, holding you accountable and giving you different perspectives on how to actually LIVE with self-compassion.
We will take 5 months to sink into and truly apply, in our everyday lives, the concepts in the book “Radical Acceptance” by Tara Brach. We will provide an expert in these concepts to guide the conversation. Together we will:
Learn to recognize and soothe harsh self-judgments
Learn to accept each moment “as it is,” without resistance and the pain that accompanies resistance
Feel more empowered and free to act from a place of acceptance and compassion
Increase a sense of freedom and self-love
Decrease shame, criticism and embarrassment in ourselves
Second Saturday of each month, starting again November 9, 10-11:30am
$200 for full 5 months
