Stemming from the Helix Cafe & Andersonville Chamber of Commerce series of Social Justice events in July and September, Micro-aggression and our Anti-Racism: A Book Discussion about White Fragility by Robin DeAngelo, we enter into our third event which we will be watching the film 13TH. Where filmmaker Ava DuVernay explores the history of racial inequality in the United States, focusing on the fact that the nation's prisons are disproportionately filled with African-Americans. There will be an open discussion after the film.
