Celebrate St. Lucia Day at the Chicago Cultural Center with Lucia candidates representing Swedish-American organizations throughout the Chicago area. Listen to the choir sing and watch as one of the girls is crowned the Lucia. Andersonville’s St. Lucia celebrations include a procession starting at 4:30 p.m. at the Museum and walks over to the Chicago Waldorf School for a program at 5 p.m. Watch as the procession walks down a candle-lit Clark Street. At 7 p.m., the celebration continues at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, 1650 W. Foster Ave., with holiday songs, readings and a final St. Lucia procession.
