The next Saturday meeting (August 11) is officially the Table Topics and Evalution competition. To get a sense of who would like to participate, please sign up as soon as possible. In order to compete in the Table Topics and Evaluation competition, you must be a paid member of the club, area, division, and district in which you are competing. You must be physically present for the competition. Contest chairs, chief judges, voting judges, tiebreaking judges, timers, counters, sergeants at arms, and test speakers may not compete in the contest at which they are serving. Toastmasters who are members in more than one club and who meet all other eligibility requirements are permitted to compete in each club contest in which paid membership is held. However, no contestant can compete in more than one area speech contest of a given type, even if the two areas are in different divisions or districts. To be a chief judge, voting judge, or tiebreaking judge at a Toastmasters speech contest, you must meet all eligibility requirements identified below. At a club contest, be a paid member. At an area, division, or district contest Be a paid member for a minimum of six months Have completed a minimum of six speech projects in Competent Communication or have earned a Certificate of Completion in Levels 1 and 2 of any path in the Toastmasters Pathways learning experience. Be physically present at the contest for which you are serving. Not a Toastmaster member? You are welcome to come as a visitor and enjoy the speakers. It is FREE for non members. .
