Womxn Writers and Spiritual Quests: Book Club

Want to learn how to write deep and complex womxn characters with spiritual and natural dimensions?

Feeling disconnected from your spiritual experience of the world?

Curious how you can feel more connected to the natural world and yourself through literature?

Come feel inspired, touched and soul-swollen in our book club.

--------

Based on the critical work (by the same name) of Carol P. Christ, Womxn Writers on Spiritual Quests is a three-month long twice-monthly exploration of the unique spiritual experience of womxn-identified people through a literary eye.

Works explored will include:
"The Awakening" by Kate Chopin
"Their Eyes Were Watching God" by Zora Neale Hurston
"Surfacing" by Margaret Atwood

We meet every other Sunday at Women & Children First in Andersonville at 5:00p beginning August 4th, running through the end of October.

If you cannot join, please send Aiden your email address and you can receive notes on discussion and suggested readings to help you connect with the work.

----------

If attendance is strong or interest to explore other texts is resounding, we will explore continuing after October with some of the following texts:
