We are thrilled to welcome Keynote speakers for our Back to School Networking Brunch, Liz Knutson of the Neighborhood Parent Network, Antonio Garcia founder and host of Dadwell & Co., and Lourdes Nicholls of Chicago Parent Magazine to talk about how they incorporate local and independent business as part of their mission and marketing practices.
Elizabeth Knutson joined NPN as its Executive Director in August 2016 and is responsible for the long-term strategic direction and day-to-day management of the organization. She has spent 13 years in member-based non-profits, most recently as the Director of Marketing at the American Planning Association and, before that, as the Director of Marketing at the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago. Elizabeth lives in Ravenswood Manor with her husband and two daughters.
Neighborhood Parents Network, a 501(c)3 non-profit, connects a diverse community of families by providing support and resources designed to solve the challenges of parenting in Chicago. Parents come to NPN to find childcare, navigate their school search, and connect with other Chicago parents and local experts. We are known for our annual preschool and elementary school fair, developmental differences resource fair, new moms groups, and more.
Chicago Parent Magazine- At Chicago Parent magazine, we serve as a parenting resource with the best of the best: the coolest play places, the hippest coffee joints, the most exciting museum exhibits, the most memorable vacations, helpful parenting advice and so much more.
Thank you so much and I hope you can join us for a wonderful networking brunch. If you have any questions please reach out to David Oakes at doakes@andersonville.org.
