Join us for for a day of learning at Chicago Waldorf School. Being A Stronger Ally: a Trans/GNC Affirming Symposium is hosted by the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce's Trans/GNC Affirming Task Force and facilitated by the Chicago Therapy Collective.
This day of learning is free to all Andersonville Chamber Members and $15 for non-members. It is open to everyone and will focus on Trans Inclusive Customer Service, as well as Civic Engagement and Allyship. Event facilitators include Jackie Boyd of The Care Plan, Bonsai Bermudez of Youth Empowerment Performance Project (YEPP), Dr. S. Simmons of the University of Chicago, and Blue facilitating Trans 101. We are thrilled to welcome Alderman Andre Vasquez, 40th Ward Chicago, Stephanie Skora of Brave Space Alliance, nationally recognized composer, producer & arranger, Allie Stephens, community activist Leni Manaa-Hoppenworth and Caitlin Botsios of Helix Cafe, Paul Fehribach of Big Jones for the Civic Engagement portion of the day.
