About Us

CMSS is a non-sectarian, non-profit organization providing an array of programs and services to help older adults across Chicagoland thrive.

In the city, we offer affordable senior housing in two apartment buildings, assisted living memory care at Hartwell Place, and personalized home care through SASI. We also offer Senior Connections, a no-cost program that matches trained volunteers with older adult participants to forge mutually beneficial friendships and reduce loneliness and social isolation. SASI and Senior Connections are also active in the north and northwest suburbs. In Bellwood, CMSS operates a senior center with engaging weekday programming, low cost meals and an LGBT+ program for older adults.
