About Us

The original Restoration Salon opened in Chicago’s historic Lincoln Park district in 1993. Starting as a tanning salon, Restoration has since grown into the established salon it is today. With the success of his first salon, owner Tim Weber then had a vision to open a second salon in the quaint, up-and-coming Andersonville neighborhood. This dream came to fruition in December of 2008. In 2011, Restoration expanded yet again, this time to the Lakeview neighborhood, making Restoration an official chain! After selling two locations, the Andersonville location took on a new space; it was moved a block south in a much bigger, brighter location!

Our focus is on hair. Our goal is to restore. Our desire is to make you happy. Our commitment is to the needs of our clients. We strive to bring you a relaxed yet professional environment. Our salons are comfortable, stylish, and reflect the creativity of our staff.

To ensure the highest quality of cosmetologists, Restoration sets up an “audition” instead of a traditional interview process. The audition assesses personal style, professionalism, cut and color technique, versatility, and personality. Our doors are always open and our staff is ready with a friendly smile. We ensure you a great service and a high quality experience that will leave you feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and restored. Currently Restoration has a staff of employees as well as Both Renters, lending to a very happy environment for different types of hair stylists.
