About Us

Lesley Ames is the photographer behind Stan's Photo, a pet portrait studio in the neighborhood of Andersonville, serving the surrounding Chicago area. From a dog's wild spirit, unique personality or soulful gaze, she captures soulful moments of your dog or pet to frame and keep. She is also the photographer behind the project, The Dogs of Andersonville, which aims to photograph one hundred dogs of Andersonville and tell the story of the social beings that connect us as humans and neighbors, making it one of the friendliest in the world.
